Author Everlyn

Everlyn A. Hunter was born in Kingston, Jamaica and immigrated to the United States at age 14. She has published essays and poetry in local publications as well as several academic articles in psychology journals. Her educational training includes Masters and Doctoral degrees in Psychology with specializations in Clinical Child and School Psychology.
In 2005 Everlyn graduated from Vancouver Film School’s Writing program and discovered filmmaking. To date, she has produced, written and directed two short films, “Baby Come Home”, and “Red Flags, and authored screenplays for the short films – “The Brown Bag Mystery”, “An Impractical Timepiece”, “Link TV”, and “The Sunshine”. Her awards include a Platinum, Best in Show Aurora Award, and a Bronze Addy Award for her regionally televised PSA, “K9-Connections”.
Everlyn currently lives in Los Angeles where she works as a Psychologist .
